dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether an organisational culture questionnaire could be used to detect sub-cultures in organisations. The instrument that has been used since 1989 in various organisational culture studies was adapted and applied in an organisation. The results indicated that management processes appear to be the dimension that differs most between biographical groups. This subsequently leads to the creation of sub-cultures in the different regions, which is supported by the statistical analysis. It also appears from the analysis that the more strategic or long-term focused dimensions may have the biggest influence on the creation of sub-cultures. en
