dc.description.abstract |
This study explored the factors that contributed to poor academic achievement of the NC (V) level 4 students at Capricorn TVET College. The sample was chosen purposefully by selecting the level 4 lecturers, students, senior lecturer and HOD. The data was collected using interviews, observation, government policy documents and questionnaires. The questions that were levelled at the respondents were open-ended.
The semi-structured interview was used. The data were recorded, coded, and analysed. The results of the study showed that students, lecturers, and TVET College are responsible for the poor academic performance of NC (V) level 4 students at Capricorn TVET College. The recommendations were made as to how to deal with the afore-said factors. |
