Title: Quality tools and techniques for improving learning in higher education

Abstract: In pursuit of quality, educators and learners must be continuously engaged in a process of finding opportunities for improving the learning process, the quality of the learning experience and the way it is delivered. In this article the following three principles of how QM can help to improve the quality of learning are discussed: (1) Focusing on the needs and expectations of customers; (2) Being committed to continuous improvement; and (3) Managing with facts and data using quality tools and techniques.
