dc.description.abstract The aim of this paper is to explore the implications of the technological process for the development of cognitive skills in an Information Systems Design (ISD) environment. In this study the methodology for ISD was integrated for essential features of Technology Education. Learners were introduced in web design by means of an interface approach between Information Systems and Technology Education. The Web Design Project (WDP) - highlighting the technological process - was based on the stages of the technological process, which serves as a framework for building a software product. en
