This article is concerned with the theoretical
understanding of the limitations and potential
of the broader discursive criticism of visual
works of art. Furthermore, as indicated in the
title, I will be looking at this problem specifically
from a post-structural position. So, the question
I investigate from a post-structural position is:
what are the limitations and potential of the
interaction between words and images in art
criticism in general, and during crits in particular? |
