Potenzialanalyse, unterstützt durch EDV-System, im Interesse missionaler Gemeindearbeit

Abstract

With the missional practice cycle, a strategy is available that makes a church very important and meaningful to the local people, both in a spiritual and in a social, cultural sense. The potential analysis is one of the essential steps from this missional cycle and makes it possible to bring the potential of each individual parishioner into this mission. How can a potential analysis be successful in the interest of missional church work? The potential analysis is successful through a clear theological foundation and a systematic approach in practice, supported by a suitable IT tool. Such an IT system should be designed based on the results of empirical-theological research and the analysis of the available instruments and methods for potential analysis. The system should be a differentiated, holistic instrument that a) enables spiritual and social perspectives of church analysis and b) delivers continuous, verifiable results.
