Ethical considerations for collection developers

Abstract

This article is the result of a literature investigation made while looking at the possible ethical considerations which may have an impact on the service delivery of specifically the collection developers as found in a 21st century academic library. The concept "ethics" is defined. The difference between subject librarians and collection developers as found in the reengineered Unisa Library Services is indicated.
