dc.description.abstract This note illustrates that mediation can be used as an important tool for dealing with all divorce and family disputes. It sets out the judicial endorsement of divorce and family mediation in case law as well as the features, advantages and disadvantages of divorce and family mediation. It specifically points out that the problems with mediation are not insurmountable and there is a counter-argument for every criticism levelled against divorce and family mediation. en
