Abstract

Memorandum addressed to His Excellency, the High Commissioner, Bechuanaland Protectorate and Swaziland, from the chiefs of the Bechualand Protectorate, Kgari Sechele, Mokgosi S. Mokgosi, Tshekedi Khama, Sedumedi Gaborone, Chief Moremi III and Chief Bathoen II mainly requesting that South West Africa not be incorporated into the Union of South Africa. Also the note of Authority indicating that Chief Tshekedi Khama, assisted by Advocate D.M. Buchanan will consult on behalf of all the chiefs of the Bechuanaland Protectorate. Dated 29 April 1946.
