Abstract

A letter written to Miss D.G. Brackett (International African Institute) By ZK Matthews on May 13, 1935. The letter contains an outline of fieldwork proposed by Matthews on his return to South Africa from London. He is interested in the social and economic changes on Native life in South Africa and contemplates to focus his research on either British Bechuanaland (Tlhaping) or Southern Natal (Zulu).
