Abstract
The purpose of the study was to explore and describe the perceptions of nurse educators regarding the integration of technology into teaching and learning at Limpopo College of Nursing. The sample comprised of 19 nurse educators from three campuses of the Limpopo College of Nursing. A qualitative explorative and descriptive design was employed. Microsoft Teams were used to interact with participants. Nurse educators with at least three years of teaching experience were invited to participate in the study. Semi-structured interviews in the form of open-ended questions were used to elicit data. Verbatim transcription was done. Data were analysed using content analysis method. Five themes emerged from the data. Findings revealed how technology is integrated into teaching and learning and challenges faced in terms of technology integration in the College. Recommendations to enhance the integration of technology and to make teaching and learning more accessible to nurse educators and students were developed.
