The Church in motion : social movement as the expression of a church of resonant relationships
Abstract
2018) untersucht
How can the church, how can Christians, find new ways to meet the longing of people and to give them room? How can the church strengthen or express its spirituality and thus become more relevant to the concrete lives of people? How can the church provide a transcendent space that appeals to people and invites them to open, understanding, sometimes transforming communication that is relevant to everyday life? The master's thesis should generate guidelines for a church of resonant relationships in the form of a social movement, based on a literature study. Hartmut Rosa's resonance concept (2017) and his presentation of the acceleration problem in his habilitation thesis (2005) will be questioned to determine which theses can be developed for a successful congregation. These will be examined for their significance in the context of five different current "models of church design" (Grethlein 2018)
