What African activities are present on the Internet? How are African countries using the Internet to provide Information to local and international audiences? ECA, with this compilation of web sites produced by Africans, hosted in Africa or containing African content, hopes to answer these questions. All web sites featured are at the server-domain level. The entries in this directory contain the site name, URL, date accessed and an abstract. The directory is organised African countries. Under each country, entries are made by different categories. The categories reflect general subject areas and institutions in which African countries arc undertaking content development. The database for which this publication has been prepared contains additional information: date of last update, webmaster, language and keyword(s). |
