dc.description.abstract The main objective of the study is to support the on-going efforts towards the re-vitalization of the Trans East African Highway network and to create awareness on the missing links. The completion of TEAH links is expected to play a vital role in the development of inter-government road infrastructure, and thereby enhancing the physical integration of the different sub-regions and promote better relations and economic co-operations among them. It is also aimed at the sensitization of the concerned countries towards the common goal of improving the road network for the development of the inter-regional linkage based on the findings, in order to promote economic integration within the countries themselves and between the sub-regions, as well as external regions such as Western Asia.
