dc.description Findings in this research paper on migration from Rotterdam to dwellings in Rijnmond within commuting distance from Rotterdam are arrived at from data sourced in the Central Buro for Statistics, the Hague, Netherlands. en
dc.description.abstract The intention of this paper is to determine whether a statistial correlation exists between migration and dwelling quality. Quality and quantity of dwellings in Rotterdam and Rijnmond, the province in which Rotterdam is located, are the focus of research. Findings include that the importance of dwelling quality in migration within commuting range of Rotterdam increased between 1971 and 1977, while distance to Rotterdam as place of work became a less important determinant when selecting a dwelling to relocate to. en
