dc.description.abstract |
In 1990 project architect Basil Brink, assisted by Stuart Douglas, Mark Hansen, Lynnsay Nuyten and Alec Johnston, designed a new transport museum for Transnet in northern Newtown. Heritage considerations of the historic steel and glass canopy structure and the Newtown context informed the design concept, which is presented and discussed in this article. |
