dc.description.abstract The correction of errors in programs can be based on an analysis, that subordinates syntactic relationships to functional relationships among elements of a program. For this purpose, case grammars, originally developed to model natural languages, have been adapted to model programming languages. The component parts of such a modified case grammar are described, and a case grammar for a subset of Pascal presented. en
