Critical language and visual art:a post-structural analysis

Abstract

This article is concerned with the theoretical understanding of the limitations and potential of the broader discursive criticism of visual works of art. Furthermore, as indicated in the title, I will be looking at this problem specifically from a post-structural position. So, the question I investigate from a post-structural position is: what are the limitations and potential of the interaction between words and images in art criticism in general, and during crits in particular?
