dc.description.abstract	This paper focuses on Guidelines for the implementation of the African Platform for Action: African common position for the advancement of Women. The guidelines have been formulated to assist all implementers as well as the monitoring mechanisms of the Platform. It is believed that their effective use could serve as a yardstick for measuring the extent to which implementation of the Platform for Action can be deemed successful.
