dc.description.abstract	This document focuses on sustainable agriculture and environmental rehabilitation in Tigray (SAERT). The very idea of the project, that is, increased agricultural production on a sustainable basis and environmental rehabilitation of a region like Tigray facing enormous environmental degradation, had gained form the start the understanding and, backing of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the United , Nations Development Programme(UNDP).
