D. D. T. Jabavu visited Tuskegee, the great Negro Institution in the United States during the summer of 1913 to obtain insight into their education systems and organisations of the country. This is a diary of his journey by ship and his stay in Tuskegee. Includes a photograph, a postcard and a program of his musical performance on August 13, 1913.
