Abstract

Donald Stuart advices Prof. Matthews that he was approached by "Science and Freedom" to write an article on the Non-European Universities, but thought Prof. Matthews to be better informed to do this. Mention of the difficulties to attend committee meetings as an African lecturer at Afrikaans speaking universities. Dated 17 May 1957.
