dc.description.abstract This report will focus on the workshop with the Black Association of Wine and Spirits Industry (BAWSI). The post-Business Conference research identified BAWSI as the sector to be workshopped. Dr Clint Le Bruyns, Ms Sue Mcwatts and Dr Gordon Dames conducted numerous discussions and planning sessions with the president, Rev Nosey Pieterse, of BAWSI. The entire BAWSI structure was analysed to identify specific sectors as target groups for the workshop. The participants were mainly farm workers (emerging business leaders) from rural areas in the Boland, Overberg and Cape Peninsula, consisting of young and older members of these communities. Dr Clint Le Bruyns was approached to facilitate the workshop. The ELP workshop was a one-day event (1 November 2007 in Paarl) for business leaders of BAWSI. The workshop focused respectively on the theme: Ethical Leadership and Economic Justice in Business. Dr Le Bruyns developed the training material. Each participant received an activity based manual (TM). en
